J.Y. Sung

J.Y. is the President of JS Educational Consulting. He received his Ph.D. and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northwestern University. He was a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Labs and a Princial Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Labs. Since 1996, he is a member of the KSEA (Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association). He is currently serving as a committee member of Ph.D. disserations at NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology).

Jennifer Sung

Jennifer is the Managing Director of JS Educational Consulting. She earned her B.A. in Linguistics at the University of Colorado at Boulder and studied Education at the National-Louis University. With JSEC, she provides professional counseling to help students and parents find the right universities, high schools, and boarding schools that fits each individual student's academic and social potential. Her love for teaching and helping students in academic pursuits is genuine. Jennifer is a member of the HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association) and an Associate Member of the IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association), which requires a commitment to high quality services and ethical standards of good practice.
